Method 1: Block That Person
Using Instagram Block feature, you can easily remove your name from the viewers’ list. When you Block someone on Instagram, the platform automatically deletes everything you two have been shared or involved in such as chats, tags, mentions, story views, and others.
The story usually expires after completing its 24 hours. But here, you may want to avoid taking the risk and keep the person blocked for at least 48 hours. Now the person won’t be able to see your name when they check who viewed their story.
Step 1: Launch Instagram and login to your account.
Step 2: Tap and go to their profile you view the story.
Step 3: Now tap the three-dots icon at the top of their profile.
Step 4: Tap Block option from the menu.
Step 5: Confirm your decision by again tapping the Block option.
