How to See the Visited Links on the Instagram App
Step 1: Launch the Instagram app.
Step 2: Tap your display profile picture at the bottom-right corner of the screen to access your profile page.
Step 3: Being in the profile section, tap the three-bar menu icon in the top-right corner.
Step 4: A list of several options will appear. Out of them, select ‘Your Activity’.
Step 5: Tap the Links you’ve visited.
Now, you will be able to see all the previous links you have ever visited on Instagram. They will appear in chronological sequence.
You can also see thumbnails, titles, URLs, and dates of these visited links. You can revisit them anytime you wish to by tapping on any links.
How to Delete the Link History
Instagram allows its users to delete the links they have clicked. This is very useful when you don’t want to mess up the Links Page with unwanted links.
If you are an iPhone user, swipe left the links and tap Hide. For Android users, long-press the link and then tap Hide.
If you want to delete the entire history of links, tap Hide History and Select Hide. It will automatically remove all the links from your page.
Important Note: Once you have hidden all the links, they will be deleted permanently, and you can’t recover any of them. Though after hiding them, there’s no option to unhide the links back again.
Is it Possible to see the Visited Links on Instagram Using Desktop?
The answer is Yes. Unlike the Instagram app, the Instagram web version doesn’t have a built-in browser to open links. Instead, they are open in your native internet browsers. Therefore, you can easily check and revisit all of your previously visited links on your Instagram desktop by using the history of your internet browser.
However, the links will not be arranged in sequence as in the Instagram app. You may need to search manually from your browser’s history to find the links you have visited earlier on the Instagram web.
