For Android
The Setting option may be different depending upon what device you use. But the process would be the same.
Step 1: Launch the Settings App of your device.
Step 2: Tap ‘Apps’ or ‘Manage Apps’ which will show the entire list of Installed Applications on your device.
Step 3: Search for Facebook and tap it to open the App info.
Step 4: Select Storage and then tap Clear cache.
The options name may vary from device to device.
For iPhone
The only way to Clear the Facebook cache on your iPhone is to remove/delete the app from your device.
- Launch the Settings App on your iPhone.
- Select General, and then tap iPhone Storage.
- Search for Facebook and tap to Delete the App.
OR, you can delete the app directly from your home screen. Just tap and hold the Facebook app. Choose to remove the app, then tap Delete App.
Once you have finished deleting the app, reinstall it from the App Store and log in to your account. Doing this will remove the Facebook app’s cached data on your iPhone.
