Step 3: Tap Settings & Privacy, then choose Settings.

Step 4: Under the Preferences category, tap Notifications.

Step 5: Scroll down to Where you receive notifications, and tap the Push button.

Step 6: Click Tone.

Step 7: Now, choose the sound of your choice you wish to use, and tap OK. You can also take a preview of the sound by clicking the specific sound.

Now, whenever you get a notification on your Facebook app, you will hear a new sound.

If you want to turn off the notification sound entirely, press the toggle icon next to the Sounds (after step 5 above).
